Spektral Bank awards scholarship for blockchain training course

As part of its cooperation with the University of Liechtenstein, Spektral Bank is awarding a scholarship of CHF 9’800.00 to cover the participation fee in the third Blockchain and FinTech certificate programme. The application period runs until October 21, 2020, and the course of study begins in January 2021.

The Blockchain and FinTech certificate programme was created by the University of Liechtenstein on the initiative of Spektral Bank. The application-oriented transfer of knowledge in the field of technological redesign of existing financial systems is the main focus.

Students in the program acquire a solid understanding of the new networked systems and their impact on new business models and value networks. The practical knowledge is broad-based and includes an overview of technological, legal and tax aspects. Blockchain and Fintech certificate programme

As an institute with an affinity for technology, Spektral Bank has been working with the University of Liechtenstein since 2018 to spread knowledge about the future technology blockchain and to further the development of an ecosystem.

Based on the university’s expertise in research, teaching and knowledge transfer on Blockchain and FinTech and with the help of Spektral Bank’s practical experience, the Institute of Finance, under the project and study leader PD Dr. Martin Angerer, has developed a certificate course for practitioners in the financial sector. The aim is to impart the latest knowledge and skills in dealing with both disruptive and potentially promising technologies in the financial industry.

Terms and conditions of participation and data protection

The scholarship in the amount of CHF 9’800 covers all fees of the Blockchain and FinTech certificate programme. Not covered are possible travel and accommodation costs as well as fees in case of repeat examinations. Applications will be considered until Wednesday, October 21, 2020, 23.59 hrs. The awarding of the scholarship is subject to the decision of the University of Liechtenstein and Spektral Bank. It is not contestable. Legal action is excluded.

No correspondence will be entered into regarding the award of the scholarship and the scholarship is non-transferable. A cash payment and/or other forms of compensation is/are excluded.

The scholarship holder agrees in advance to take part in advertising activities organised by Spektral Bank or the University of Liechtenstein and also to sign a consent form covering the publication of images and videos.

The data of all applicants who applied but were not awarded the scholarship will be deleted once the scholarship award has been announced and will not be used further.
